Close to two years coordinating software and Geo-ICT delivery for government ministries, UN agencies, international organizations, and embassies at NAXA Pvt. Ltd. ↗ — translating stakeholder intent into trackable delivery and keeping risks visible.
LIVE PLATFORM • NATIONAL DEPLOYMENT
National disaster response and incident tracking platform across all 7 provinces of Nepal. Enables real-time logging, analysis, and tracking of floods, landslides, and natural hazard alerts.
I am Manish Timalsina, a Project Manager at NAXA Pvt. Ltd. ↗ with close to two years of experience coordinating software and Geo-ICT delivery for government agencies, international organizations, UN bodies, embassies, and development partners.
I work as the bridge between clients and development teams: translating vague requirements into PRD/SRS documentation and sprint tasks, keeping risks and blockers visible before they damage delivery, and managing cross-cultural stakeholder communication across several concurrent workstreams.
I started out hands-on — development, teaching, field data collection — which keeps my conversations with engineering teams practical. An MBA (2026, CGPA 3.60) built on a Bachelor’s in ICT (CGPA 3.24) rounds out the technical and strategic sides. My work has touched systems used by Nepal Police, the World Food Programme, the British Embassy, UNOPS, ICIMOD, and multiple government ministries.
Flood and landslide incident tracking system supporting Nepal’s national disaster response programme. The Geohazard Module enables government responders to log, track, and visualise incidents across the country in real time.
Translated client requirements into scoped tasks, coordinated review cycles, and managed release readiness with government stakeholders.

Two concurrent platforms integrating satellite, weather, and ground-station data. The regional dashboard serves ICIMOD’s Hindu Kush Himalaya focus; the Pakistan-specific dashboard was built for Pakistani government staff to monitor smog episodes.
Automates national data collection across 18 offices. Client: National Statistics Office (NSO). Coordinated requirements, delivery timelines, and blocker escalation from inception through rollout.
Government finance system managed from full delivery through Annual Maintenance Contract phase. Client: Ministry of Finance. Owned client communication, issue logging, and fix tracking during AMC.
Data platform covering crime and accident data for Nepal Police Headquarters. Client: UNOPS. Held requirement meetings with UNOPS professionals and senior officials at Police HQ.
Decision support for disaster preparedness and response. Client: NEEDS Nepal, WFP, UN, NDRRMA, DHM. Ran requirement meetings with the UN and World Food Programme; tracked multi-agency decisions into delivery scope.
Interactive digital eco-tourism and destination exploration portal for Bardiya National Park and local municipalities. Delivered full scope within tight deadlines: Web-GIS safari trail mapping, Tharu cultural immersion, and local guide booking.
Sensor-based smart dustbin monitoring waste levels with real-time disposal alerts. Led as Team Lead: task division, progress tracking, and hardware-software integration into a working demonstration.
Responsive personal website and technology blog built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as sole developer.
Running concurrent workstreams for international clients, keeping sprint boards clean, blockers surfaced, and delivery on schedule across multiple projects simultaneously.
Translating stakeholder intent into PRDs, SRS specifications, and scoped task lists that engineering teams can actually execute. Making ambiguity traceable.
Cross-cultural communication across government ministries, UN agencies, embassies, and INGOs — adapting register and format to each audience, including field meetings.
Proactively spotting blockers, overdue tasks, and unassigned work before they become delivery risks. Escalating with context, not just noise.
Comfortable adopting any PM tooling quickly. Currently working across ClickUp, Trello, and Jira alongside Slack, Figma review workflows, and Google Drive.
